Dr. Gaurav Mohan Kohli

Dr. Gaurav Mohan Kohli (MD, DNB, FVRS, MNAMS) is a highly qualified, National Board-certified ophthalmologist with specialization in Vitreoretinal surgery, Uveitis, and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP). He completed his postgraduate ophthalmology training from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospitals, followed by a fellowship in Vitreo-Retina, Uvea, and ROP at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Chitrakoot—Asia’s largest surgical facility. Further superspeciality training in Pediatric Retinal Surgery and ROP was undertaken at PGIMER, Chandigarh, India’s top-tier medical institute.
Dr. Kohli has extensive clinical experience in adult and pediatric vitreoretinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and ocular trauma. He is also skilled in complex cataract surgeries and uveitis management. He served as Assistant Professor & Consultant at ERA Medical College, with prior affiliations to Eye Q Hospitals, PGIMER, and Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya.
He has authored multiple peer-reviewed research publications on topics related to retinal diseases, ROP, and ocular inflammation. His research contributions have been featured in reputed journals such as Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, Ocular Immunology and Inflammation, RETINA, and EYE. Dr. Kohli is a regular speaker and presenter at national and international ophthalmology conferences, where he shares insights on advances in retinal surgery, pediatric retinal care, and uveitis management.
